In this project, we transformed a patio and a driveway at a property in Swords, Dublin. At the front, we removed the old driveway, put in a new hardcore foundation with a weed control membrane and laid the driveway with a three size mix of black Newgrange granite slabs, silver-grey borderlines and charcoal kerbstones. We also built a new matching doorstep.
We removed and extended the old patio area at the back, laid a new hardcore foundation and membrane, and raised Connemara retaining walls and a step towards the garden. We installed new ACO drains and laid the patio with 600 by 400 mm silver Newgrange granite slabs and with black granite border. We also laid a small storage area with 400 by 400 mm classic charcoal flags.
