New Raised Patio in Knocklyon, Dublin

This raised patio has been recently finished by Drivescape Paving in Knocklyon, Dublin.

We started by completely removing the old decking and extending the patio area.

We raised the area with Ashford blocks and leveled it off with fresh topsoil. Then we put down a new foundation on top of a heavy duty membrane and compacted it down. We paved the patio with 400 by 400 classic flags, with Lizmore Charcoal borderline.

Finally we built two small steps on either side of the patio to make the descent onto the lower level more natural and safer.
