Patio Layers Carrickmines

The right paving should sit well against the house it serves, matching the stone or render rather than fighting it. In Carrickmines we see a mix of period homes and newer builds, so we choose patio styles that suit each one honestly.
There’s no single right patio, and the finish you choose sets the tone for the whole garden. We lay the full range of patio paving, and we’re able to walk you through what suits your space and budget before you commit to anything.
Riven natural stone — sandstone, limestone, slate and granite — brings texture and variation, and sits especially well with older brick and stone houses. Porcelain is at the other end of the scale: sharp, flat, colour-stable and almost impossible to stain, and ideal if you want clean lines.
Along with slabs, we install block paved patios. Whichever you go for, the result depends on what’s underneath — full excavation, a solid sub-base and the right falls so rainwater drains away instead of pooling, with jointing done properly so slabs don’t rock or lift.
Alongside patios, we also cover driveway construction in Carrickmines.
